The Impact of Immersive Virtual Reality Technology on the Future of New Model Museum Applications Centered on History Education

Abstract

With the development of science and technology, virtual reality (VR) technology is becoming more and more mature and has gradually emerged in all walks of life. In this regard, the advantages of VR technology have also been more and more widely used in education. Especially after COVID-19, the inherent face-to-face education model is no longer suitable for the current form of education. during COVID-19, universities and high schools around the world used online live lectures or online recorded lectures, this model was the best way at that time, but the effect of the class is not good, the students' concentration decreased, and the quality of the course is also reduced. For subjects that require experiments or live tours, online lectures do not achieve the expected results. The results of the experiment showed that most of the international students liked the museum and the history of Korea. The results of the experiment showed that most of the international students liked the immersive virtual reality approach and would like to use this model for their history courses in the future.
