This paper derived problems by analyzing the listing patterns and definitions of ending combination in the Korean dictionary, and the criteria for listing the ending combination were discussed. The ending combinations to be registered was presented based on the principle of listing and the frequency in corpus. And the way of presenting definition according to the type of ending combination was proposed. We argued that the frequency should be considered in addition to compositionality, which is generally used as the criteria for listing the ending combination. It is worth listing not only for ending combinations that have compositional meaning, but also the combinations that are frequently used. When the endings as agglutinative elements combine, the theoretically possible binding type is close to infinity. However, only a limited number of significant high frequency ending combinations appear when analyzing the corpus. It can be very useful information for Korean learners as well as native speakers to list ending combinations which are not compound endings but appear at a high frequency as entries in the Korean dictionary.-
