외국어로서의 조선어교육 연구 동향 분석 - 남한과 북한의 연구 성과를 바탕으로 -

Abstract

본 연구는 남한과 북한에서 이루어진 외국어로서의 조선어교육의 연구 동향을 귀납적으로 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 북한의 연구물은 조선어 관련 대표 학술지 3종을 대상으로 수집하였고 남한의 연구물은 키워드 검색을 통해 수집하였다. 그 결과 총 55편의 연구물을 대상을 시기별, 주제별 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 그리고 북한에서는 2019년으로 갈수록 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 남한에서도 시기가 지날수록 연구물의 수가 꾸준히 증가하고 있으나 자료 수집 등의 어려움으로 북한만큼의 활발한 연구는 이루어지지 않고 있었다. 주제별 분석에서는 남한에서는 교재 분석과 교재 현황을 살펴보는 영역의 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며 ‘오류 분석’ 연구는 자료 수집의 어려움으로 이루어지지 않았다. 북한에서는 ‘조선어교육 내용’ 영역의 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으나 교재 분석 연구는 이루어지지 않았다. 이처럼 본 연구는 조선어교육 연구를 공시적이고 통시적적으로 살펴봄으로써 두 언어교육 간의 간극을 확인하고 통일 이후 한국어교육의 통합을 위한 기초적인 자료로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to inductively examine the research trends of Korean language education as a foreign language in South and North Korea. For this purpose, North Korean research was collected from three representative Korean language-related academic journals, and South Korean research was collected through keyword search. As a result, a total of 55 research articles were analyzed for research trends by period and subject. And it can be seen that research is being actively conducted in North Korea toward 2019. In South Korea, the number of studies has been steadily increasing as time goes by, but due to difficulties in data collection, research has not been conducted as actively as in North Korea. In the thematic analysis, most studies were conducted in the area of analyzing textbooks and examining the current status of textbooks in South Korea, and the research on ‘error analysis’ was not conducted due to difficulties in data collection. In North Korea, the most research was conducted in the field of ‘contents of Korean language education’, but there was no study on the analysis of textbooks. As such, this study is meaningful in that it can be used as a basic data for the integration of Korean language education after unification by identifying the gap between the two language educations by examining the study of Korean language education in a synchronic and diachronic.
