한국어 헤지 표현의 연구 동향 분석 - 한국어교육을 위한 연구 목적별 경향을 중심으로 -

Abstract

본 연구는 2000년 이후 헤지 표현 관련 연구들의 연구 동향을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 연구 목적별 분석 틀을 설정하고 체계적 문헌 고찰 방법을 활용하여 연구물의 경향을 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 연구 동향 분석은 연구 목적과 연구 자료, 연구 방법을 기준으로 나누어 살펴보았으며 일차적으로 연구 목적별 관련 연구의 경향성을 분석한 이후 연구 자료와 연구 방법별로 경향을 재분석하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 총 70편의 논문을 분석한 결과 헤지 표현의 기능을 분석한 연구가 가장 많았으며 한국어 모어 화자의 헤지 표현 활용 양상 분석 연구, 한국어 모어 화자 및 외국어 모어 화자의 헤지 표현 활용 양상 비교 분석 연구, 한국어교육용 헤지 표현 제시 양상 분석 연구, 한국어 모어 화자와 한국어 학습자의 헤지 표현 활용 양상 비교 분석 연구, 한국어 헤지 표현의 통·번역 양상 대조 분석 연구, 한국어 학습자의 헤지 표현 활용 양상 분석 연구, 한국어 학습자의 헤지 표현 인지 양상 분석 연구, 한국어 헤지 표현 연구 동향 분석 연구 순으로 많이 이루어졌음을 알 수 있었다.

This paper argues that the research purpose, research method, and scale of the corpus in some of the early works in the field of Korean hedge expressions need to be reclaimed. It analyzes research trends in Korean hedge expressions and suggests further research directions for teaching Korean as a foreign language. For this purpose, 70 references on Korean hedge expressions since the year 2000 were collected using three techniques: an online bibliographic database search, the ancestry approach, and the descendancy approach. They were then analyzed through systematic review and the references were classified into nine academic categories according to the research purpose. The type, research method, and scale of the corpus used in each reference category were reviewed. The authors provide an overview of the existing research results, for each category and identify the problems encountered in existing references. Simultaneously, the authors highlight four issues to enable future researchers to avoid certain mistakes and make improvements in their approach.
