This study attempted to understand the eye tracking experiments, which are gradually expanding in scope of application, and to grasp the trend and flow of eye research conducted in the fields of architecture and space. The results of this study are as follows. First, the trend of research has been confirmed from analysis methods and gaze characteristics to studies to examine users" spatial perception. Although some research to establish a specific analysis method will continue in the future, research for the purpose of confirming user perception is expected to become more active. Second, so far, eye tracking experiments have been mainly conducted on indoor spaces, 20 to 30 participants mainly participated using fixed devices. As a criterion for analysis, the index related to fixation was the most. Therefore, the most appropriate to apply a method of analyzing attention to internal space, and when conducting an experiment on an external environment that is difficult to control, it is necessary to designate an area of interest and check recognition based on this. Third, it is necessary to grasp the user"s intuitive perception of environmental factors by analyzing the results of the eye tracking experiment, which is quantitative data, and the results of the survey, which is qualitative data. If the two methods are combined, eye tracking experiments can be used in a more objective and useful way. The results of this study are meaningful as basic studies that can identify specific fields that can be used for future gaze tracking experiments and refer to the framework and research method of the study. In the future, it is necessary to continuously analyze research trends based on steady interest in related research.
