말뭉치 기반 한국어교육용 N+N 복합 구성 선정의 쟁점 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the issues that should be considered when selecting N+N complex compositions specifically tailored for Korean language education. A corpus analysis was conducted to examine the issues. For this, we examined the frequency of N+N constructions across various subgenres in the National Institute of Korean Language’s “Modu Corpus”. First, we agreed to utilize N+N constructions in the subgenre corpora of everyday conversation, spoken language, and newspapers as the primary resources. And then, we selected the N+N compound constructions from these three corpora as candidates. The exclusion criteria addressed the randomness of the combination, the distinctiveness of the name, semantic transparency, and the necessity and suitability for learning. The selection of items was discussed based on the criteria of unit definition, component characteristics, types of semantic relationships, and educational applicability.
