Modern society is transforming into a multicultural society where members of various nationalities make up a society. This study focuses on factors affecting the national identity of children of multicultural families amid these changes. As a result of empirical analysis of the influencing factors, it was found that the influence of the surrounding environment such as family relationships, peer relationships, and relationships with teachers enhances the national identity of children of multicultural families, and policy support related to multicultural families also increases national identity. On the other hand, it was confirmed that policy support reduced the positive influence of family relationships on national identity. Through this empirical analysis, we suggest that there is a need for policies related to the formation of a stable surrounding environment in which children of multicultural families can establish national identity. In addition, it suggests that policy demander review and design of effective PR methods for improving human rights for multicultural families are required so that there are no alienated multicultural families.
