Yi Sang describes the true colors of the fear right in front of him after his poetic works were refused from newspaper as a universal place. His family’s demands and expectations in accordance with the patriarchal order were the frightening situation that dominated and repressed Yi Sang himself. He brings a ghost, unsubstantive being that exceeds the order of the world where he belongs to, into life. The ghost Yi Sang subpoenaed confirms the process of literature (art) that he started in 1931. The appearance of ghosts leads to a ‘maze’ way, and in the maze, which is a dead end but also an open alley, the ghost never ceases to repeat in such a way that it does not exceed while constantly galloping for an exit. A maze accurately reproduces the structure of a patient's mind when he visits a doctor (psychoanalyst). Yi Sang hoped his text would refuse to be tamed in a huge maze, and his texts would be freed from the maze and work as the ghost threatening the real world. Patient who hover in the maze with symptoms finds a physician in charge and diagnose themselves. while responding to or suppressing impulses. In a poem where the conversations take place with patients, the physician in charge does not invite the patient to his or her world, but instead visits the patient's world and waits for the patient's own unique world to be created in his or her linguistic activity. The physician in charge’s roles are to capture the escape of things that used to dominate the patients paralyzed by others’ gaze, and also to compose the symptoms. The physician in charge, Yi Sang does not judge and diagnose patients who are governed by the world's order by their own knowledge, and induces them to reveal their own void. In this interview situation(literary act), the writer Yi Sang diagnoses and names himself as a patient and a physician in charge, and then acquired death(void). This process pays attention to the process in which an (objectified) (non) subject captured by something becomes a subject by exceeding the common notion in which a doctor treats a patient in the ‘doctor-patient’ relationship. In the poetry, the work of erasing the boundary between two of them by appearing as a ‘physician in charge [writer]’ and ‘patient[poetic narrator]’ shows the process of restructuring focusing on the ‘subject of (analysis)’. It gives up its desire to settle in the world’s order and is born into a writing entity in the form of ‘void’. The physician in charge, Yi Sang includes the void in his works, and transfers that to readers. His poems waits that the readers’ stereotypes could be collapsed and the readers’ language could be newly beginning in a place of void.
