This is a study on inquiry of Nuclear policy issue life cycle. We have carried out a life cycle study of nuclear policy issues that have played a major role in the supply and demand of electric power in Korea. In the case of nuclear energy policy issues, there are two types of four major case(Type 1: Life extension of nuclear power plant / Type 2: Location conflict of nuclear power plant in korea). The methodology for this study is a Spline function. As a result, these four cases revealed similar patterns in the life cycle. One type of the one cases was seen as a Late birth-sudden death and the other type of three cases was sudden birth-sudden death. This shows that the government's policy decision tends to change suddenly in nuclear policy issues and implies that deliberative policy consideration is needed to implement the government's nuclear policy.
