초록
The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the influential factors of school opening, which is one of the changes in school organization. School opening, which was once taken for granted, is now attracting attention as a changing role for schools. In addition, the degree of school opening has changed due to external environmental factors surrounding the school and various institutional logics. However, empirical research on school opening remains inadequate. Therefore, in this study, based on Organizational Institutionalism. We searched for the influential factors of school opening in 5,844 elementary schools nationwide and empirically analyzed their influence. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was found that the more the adjacent school organization opens, the more the school opens. Next, the possibility of openness increases when the school organization conforms to economic and social contribution logic. These results mean that the decision to open the school organization was a combination of internal factors, various institutional logics surrounding the organization, and the influence of the external environment. At the same time, in order to activate the opening of school facilities, it is necessary to consider the institutional environment and take a school opening support policy that matches the characteristics of each region.
