- Abstract
- Research trend analysis holds both bibliographic value and historical significance by fulfilling roles such as summarizing previous studies and reviewing disciplinary identity. Furthermore, it serves as a tool for knowledge creation. The reliability of the research trend analysis methodology ensures that these values and significance are upheld. Building on Liu Renbo’s (2022c) work, this study is significant in promoting the standardized evaluation of methodological quality in research trends within Korean language education. The evaluation method focuses on seven elements: research question, research design, analysis object, coding framework, coding, research method, and research results. This study contributes by proposing a method to evaluate the quality of research trends in Korean language education. Additionally, the framework developed through this study is expected to serve as an autonomous alternative evaluation tool that can be applied in real-world educational settings. Furthermore, by utilizing research methods such as the ‘Delphi technique’, we aim to develop this evaluation tool into one that earns greater public trust.
